Examining the role of Green Knowledge Management on Corporate Environmental Performance with the mediation of Eco Technology Innovation and moderating role of Organizational Agility

Abstract/Description

Purpose: This study investigates the critical roles of green knowledge management on corporate environmental performance with the mediation of eco-technology innovation and the moderating role of organizational agility.

Methodology: In this study, a quantitative approach was used by collecting data via surveys administered to the unit of analysis and evaluating relevant previous research. The population of the research is comprised of individuals working in management positions in the banking industry of Pakistan.

Findings: The findings indicate that green knowledge management has a significant impact on the environmental performance of the banking industry. In addition, the research uncovered a significant mediating relationship between knowledge management and environmental performance. Lastly, the researchers' results revealed that organizational agility moderates environmental performance significantly.

Originality: The present research offers significant contributions to the understanding of the correlation between discussed variables in this study.

Research Limitations: The study may suffer from a small sample size, which could limit the generalizability of the findings.

Practical Implications: Green knowledge management and green technology innovation provide managers with practical insights that enable them to concentrate on planning, allocating, and budgeting for effective green practices that may help to enhance the company’s environmental performance.

Social Implications: By developing and implementing green technologies, companies can reduce their environmental impact, improve their reputation, and attract environmentally conscious customers.
