The interconnection between TQM practices with the moderating role of Technological Turbulence on SMEs performance in Pakistan
Abstract/Description
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) practices on the performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan with the moderating role of Technological Turbulence (TT). To collect data at a specified period, the researcher will use quantitative approach based on a cross-sectional survey and descriptive design. Conceptual model in this study intend to propose, TQM practices as exogenous and TT as moderating variable. This study will be useful for the people on strategic positions for making decision by providing a working ground on factors significance about to enhance the firm performance. Hence TQM is one of the crucial exogenous variables which could influence the firm performance significantly. Therefore owner/mangers of SMEs improve their awareness over the knowledge based in TQM together with the moderation of technological turbulence to achieve the sustainable growth in the current ear of advancement. This study intent to establish the moderation impact of technological turbulence on the relationship between TQM as exogenous variable and firm performance as endogenous variable which has an impact on both their growth and local economy and the society at large.
