Abstract/Description

The effects of climate change are being felt all around the world, making it one of the most urgent challenges of our day. Pakistan, a developing nation in South Asia, is particularly susceptible to the effects of climate change and has already been affected by a variety of its effects, such as rising temperatures, irregular rainfall patterns, and natural disasters like floods and droughts. Climate finance has become a crucial tool to fund adaptation and mitigation efforts in industries like agriculture, water resources, energy, coastal areas, and public health in response to these issues. Using a methodology that describes important processes and indicators for gauging climate finance readiness, this article intends to analyze the policy, institutional framework, and financial mechanism for climate finance preparedness in Pakistan.
