Abstract / Summary
The state of government basic education is in abysmal condition. All statistics point towards the need of quick intervention from government to improve the deteriorating standard of education at public schools. For the past few decades falling education standards and ill-managed public schools led to mushroom growth in Private schools and Madrasas. In wake of this phenomenon a distinctive division between children of Public, Private and Madrasas schools is creating disparity among population. Therefore it is not sustainable for the growth of education sector in Pakistan, as three different set of education standards are being promulgated.
