Abstract
For years Industries have relied on the use of machines to manufacture consumable products. But these machines, up to the twentieth century only helped in doing intensive repetitive tasks that were too basic. Since then computers have started to get smarter and more capable. With the advent of Internet of things the paradigm started to shift towards automation of processes. But all processes still involved human intervention and the newer and more capable machines still needed humans to function properly. In this study we’re going to discuss and dig into the possibility of making a certain industry for e.g. textile industry fully functional in at least some of its processes without the need of human involvement. We will discuss how systems can be taught to make better decisions based on the data that is being fed to them or the data that they acquire through sensors and how certain artificial intelligence algorithms can help in removing the entire process’s dependencies on humans.
