Abstract / Summary
The service is a telehealth system which will be operating in the cities of Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas apart from the areas of Baldia, Korangi, Sujani Town, Malir and Landhi in Karachi in the first phase and then gradually expand in tier two cities across the country. The service is mainly for families earning a monthly total household income between PKR 15,000 and PKR 75,000, since often in these families the first point of contact for an illness is the physician's store where they ask for medicine for their symptoms, with the ailment often being identified a general store selling medicines which would be available for the individuals wanting medicine general physician will diagnose the disease and provide a prescription on phone, and then medicine would be bought from the pharmacy itself.
