Abstract / Summary

This research aims to understand the perception of people towards Electronic Money Institutions. Many players have emerged with the recent innovation in financial services and EMIs are one of them. The main focus of the research is to study the consumer’s perception of those EMIs as a distinctive fintech player. This research uses a quantitative approach by creating survey forms that were distributed to the public. The results showed that people have high expectations from these newly launched fintech companies and are willing to move towards them if all their queries are solved. The results were validated using pilot and then convenience sampling.
