Executive Summary
The aim of this project is to provide an insight regarding current status of existence of challenges and barriers in women's career progress in acquiring top positions in Pakistan. The idea is to investigate if a glass ceiling really does exist or it is women who hold her back while advancing towards corporate ladder. The findings indicate that women in Pakistan from all sectors face almost similar issues. The conclusion deduced from the analysis strongly indicates the organizations must realize that an inclusive environment and unbiased policies can lead to mutual benefits. The primary research of the project has been made through questionnaires from public sector executives. Whereas the secondary research is done from other people's research and collection of data from books, reports or the internet.
