Executive Summary
The aim of this project is to provide an insight regarding current status of existence of challenges and barriers in women's career progress in acquiring top positions in Pakistan. The idea is to investigate if a glass ceiling really does exist or it is women who hold her back while advancing towards corporate ladder.
In the global world of competition and corporation, where there is cliché of equal opportunity still women have difficulty to exploit full potential at work. Evidences are found that organizations come into crisis when they have to promote a woman to most influential position. Yet, researches prove that women leadership improves corporate performance.
