Abstract
Since the beginning of last decade and up till now agile project management methods have been getting massive acceptance from software corporations and there are a lot of agile projects-, management tools have been developed to run agile methods smoothly but, a little is known about what agile tools software corporations are using to help their Agile strategies and whether they are fulfilled disappointed with them: So, this research survey aims to study more about some popular agile tools and discover the adoption rate of APMtoolsin Pakistan-based software companies, for this purpose a thorough literature survey and questionnaire-based short objective eyes conducted that cover both public and private sector companies. the software companies difficulties to select the right APM tool for their agile projects. This survey reports the results. the questionnaire covers 100 responses from about 20 different public and private IT ' companies and departments of Pakistan. Results show that most of the agile tools provide "insert ease of use" and "Planning", whereas the least satisfactory aspect is "Too many customizations", declares Atlassian Jira as a number one agile tool choice among Pakistani companies.
