Abstract
Supply chain is digitalizing very quickly. Most of the innovations are centered on inventions like cloud computing, advanced analytics and software-as-a-service (SaaS). Logistics and transportation plays and important role in the overall Supply chain and with the increase in the speed of real time economy, timing is very important. Optimization, efficiency, timing and speed have always been key factors in logistics and transportation.
Today, among a range of evolution and with the increase in the digital transformations in the world where these transformations are affecting the industries often known as “Industry 4.0” the transformation in Transport is very important aspect.
In this survey we will look at the challenges faced regarding digital transformations in supply chain specifically in goods transportation and logistics.
