Abstract
Technology has impacted the way we teach and learn, and in the coming years it is going to change our standards and pedagogies with the industry 4.0 standard is being implemented in different sectors thus it is very important for education sector especially higher education to evolve so it can train the future workforce to deal with and create new opportunities in internet of things world.
To use the full potential of this system people who come with experience in their education will have newer ideas and forms to implement this. Not only that even now this standard can help educators, learners and administration in tackling the issues they currently face while creating new ways to solve the problems in educational models through technology.
This paper discusses the internet of educational things model and how it can be used in smart campuses to solve the problems that are in the current system while discussing the challenges that we face while using the internet of things.
