Abstract
This research mainly focused on current issues in e-commerce and barriers that are hurdle in development of e-commerce in Pakistan. Pakistan has a great consumer market for c-commerce but there are some issues that restrict its growth. The research was conducted as to get customer side reviews on e-commerce trade in Pakistan. The sample was collected using questionnaire with a size of approximately 50 users in 2017. Respondents were approximately from 10-12 cities of Pakistan. As a result, beside many problems in buying online, there were two factor that were top on the list of issues. First was trust and second is, people were not satisfied with the quality of product so they prefer to buy visiting some stores. Due to these issues, e-commerce is not wined as much attention as in other countries of the world. Clothing was the top most category_ people love to buy online. This paper helps highlight the issues faced by customers towards adaptation of e-commerce in Pakistan and some solutions that customers think should be adapted as to improve boost for e-commerce trade in Pakistan.
