Abstract
States create values, themes, as well as concepts to help them achieve and protect their long-term objectives. Narratives are the term for such well-crafted beliefs. The narrative is a logically connected story of events and a cognitive model that is given either in writing or spoken form. In irregular warfare, it is seen as a weapon. State identity aims and objectives are defined by narratives. It creates a state's and society's identities at the same time. It strengthens the state's shared values and beliefs, which are linked to its policies and tactics. The narrative relies on an organizational hierarchy concerning the organization of a state including the development of its institutions, whose proponents campaign for their perspectives capitalizing on their resources. Pakistan has adopted several methods of the narrative building amidst numerous obstacles since its inception and has attempted to develop a narrative that can unite the country and bring up internal stability with context to countering rampant insurgent movements in the country.
