Abstract / Summary

The company entered into powdered milk segment in 2010 with launch of Tarang-Powder tea creamer - and is currently producing 51.8 K tons/year of powdered milk. With products like Olpers and Dairy Omung, Engro now has an efficient knowledge base of milk and dairy products. Going forward, the company plans to improve its market share in the dairy segment by introducing products in GUMP Category and, in next five years, aims to become second best player in the market (the first being Nestle Nido).
