Abstract / Summary
Steel industry has been one of the most dynamic industries serving as one of the best barometer for measuring development and economic progress. The structure of the steel sector in Pakistan is somewhat fragmented. The industry is divided based upon the type of steel product produced - flat or ling. The flat products segment is dominated by two major local producers - International Steels Ltd. and Aisha Steels Ltd.
