Abstract / Summary
This project developed an AI-assisted system to support advanced demand forecasting and automation of the replenishment function in IFFCO's oil supply chain. It helped to develop and refine replenishment planning through improved forecasted demand and a design of reorder points and safety stock with an optimized strategy. Within the framework, design of a hybrid forecasting system was a key component. A combination of traditional forecasting and the next generation of Generative AI (GenAI) is used. The system supported the planner with demand forecasting, replenishment decisions, and supply uncertainty assessment. It focuses on operational and service supply chain enhancement.
