Abstract / Summary
This project will address a key HR operations problem at Imtiaz Group (Private) Limited. Imtiaz Group operates a chain of retail supermarkets in Pakistan, and employs over 15,000 people, with 33 stores in over 14 cities. The project will focus on enhancing performance measurements through building a dashboard for the HR Operations team.
Currently, the HR Operations team relies on manual data extraction and preparation to create reports for organizational decision-making and upper management levels. Other difficulties include having less technologically literate retail staff, which makes any kind of new technology introduction difficult to scale. The lack of automated procedures for these tasks limits real-time visibility of progress and performance and diminishes the ability of managers to make key decisions in a timely manner.
This project is focused on the design and testing of an HR operations dashboard that will use data from the centralized database (MDS – Management Data Systems) and will display it visually in an easily digestible format. In conjunction with this, we will research and identify ways to improve HR operations at Imtiaz by analyzing the best current practices in the industry and how technologies and AI integration are being used to improve the effectiveness of HR operations in similar companies.
