Abstract / Summary
"Mughal" brand is owned by Garibsons(Pvt) Ltd which is one of the leading names in export of branded food commodities such as Rice. The company has been struggling to make a mark in B2C area with sales fluctuating on and off and new competitors entering the market landscape. Each business needs a strategy for the future, the areas which need to be explored in order to remain competitive in a dynamic market where consumers preferences are changing continuously. In Pakistan, being a foodie nation, branded food category is continuously reinvent and innovate in order to sustain in the future. With new and big competitors emerging in branded food category it is imperative that Mughal rethinks its new and big competitors emerging in branded food category it is imperative that Mughal rethinks its strategy in order to drive future business. This project is an attempt to suggest strategies for increasing product sales and ensure future sustainability of the company through brand building and new product development.
