Executive Summary
After completing course work at !BA my next target was to set myself up for the final thesis and on performing it commendably well so to leave IBA with flying colors. Being an Engineer by profession, my area of focus was inclining towards working on such engineering solution which has created wonders in financial impact and efficient working of any organization across the globe. Soon my instincts stopped me from going anywhere but to take me towards my own organization KESC. In KESC there has been a development over the years which not only played vital role in providing efficiency to its system but also encountered the growing instability in its financial position.
The development which will provide system efficiency and financial stability is SCADA, the Supervisory control and data acquisition system. Soon after setting my focus I visited many concerned persons across KESC to seek their valuable guidance and spend much time with them to learn about the positive impact which this system will create. I have also spend time having online communication with concerned persons in developed countries and sought out how well they were utilizing SCADA in order to improve infrastructure of power utilities. I have tried my level best to compile bits of information in best way to take my thesis up to the level of satisfaction and finally this paper Is here for the perusal of all the respectable readers.
