Executive Summary

Business Models are the backbone for every organization and the basic purpose of business model is to make money in the Industry. This research project is a comprehensive qualitative investigation of the Business Model of Wi-tribe, Pakistan. The model entails functionality of the different departments that are currently operative in the firm, such as the Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and Operations. The core strength and innovation of a Business Model leads firms towards success and sustainability.

Soaring competition among the major Broadband market players, also influence the business model of the firm and reveals the gaps in it. Porter's five forces model has been used to conduct the Industry Analysis of the Telecom Sector of the Economy. The project presents ample information about the challenges of the business model (Wi-tribe) and devising solutions for them individually.

Wi-tribe achieved many milestones in the last 2 years such as being rated the #1 broadband company for quality and for customer satisfaction, launching numerous add-ons and continually finding new, more innovative ways to engage our customers, wi-tribe is where it is today because of highly talented people, encompassing both young achievers as well as industry leaders, with years of experience under their belts.

The purpose of carrying out this research project Is to traverse the nature of business model of Wi-tribe, Pakistan. Delving further into details, the problematic areas of the business model have also been highlighted and seen as challenges for the firm. The procedures and practices used in this Project are sequential and step wise. A detailed descriptive analysis has been conducted by setting up a sample size, developing a hypothesis and collecting data. The main research tools are the narrative interviews and questionnaires. All of these collectively help out in minimizing and providing solutions to the challenges faced by the business model of Wi-tribe, Pakistan.
