Executive Summary

This project was aimed making a comparative study of entrepreneurship skills among engineers business graduates and other professionals. It will also lead to a corollary that if social or technological skills are required to be a risk taker and ultimately become an entrepreneur.

It was observed that people want to be risk takers and are attracted towards innovative ideas. They feel motivated to launch a new business, but they do not have ideas and concepts matured sufficiently to launch a business. It was observed that professionals are educated to become entrepreneurs; however, they are not so well trained in communication skills required to become entrepreneurs Most entrepreneurs would wait until they get a capital investment while they strongly believe that sales and marketing skills are independent function to be developed. It is mostly established that Engineers having designed and assembled toe product sell and market it as a natural consequence. Professionals are usually tend to be towards regulatory framework and they make a calculated decision calculating cannot compliant opportunity cost before they take up adventure as an entrepreneur.
