HBL Credit Cards has been in the credit card issuing business since 2008. Over the past seven years HBL Credit Cards has experienced a steady growth and with the acquisition of Citibank credit card portfolio has propelled to be amongst the top 5 credit card issuers in the industry. HBL CreditCard has shown exceptional performance over the past two years with growth in critical areas regarding acquisition, customer spend, card acceptability and average transaction size. Keeping in mind; the confidence of it's card users; it is imperative that HBL capitalizes on the growth phase that it has entered by offering a card product that is positioned as a card for the affluent strata; repositioning itself as a credit card issuer for the affluent.
