Abstract
The term Cloud Computing refers to a class of computation in which all resources, for example, computation engine, disk storage, virtual & transient storage, services & applications and all characteristics of computers are veiled from the user using these resources. This innovative approach to view hardware as a service has forced many businesses to think of their existing infrastructure and potential migration strategies to move towards a cloud computing solution. This report briefly discusses aspects such as what is cloud computing, architecture, and options available for cloud computing, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using this technology.
