Abstract
Citation network is used to find the evolution of fields along with time and publications or most influential papers, topic modeling analysis, etc. There are many methods to analyze citation network, among them Social network analysis is one. In this paper, we have studied and applied different methods of Social Network Analysis to find micro-level network properties aiming to verify the small world phenomena within the citation network, along with this, centrality measures are applied to find the top 10most cited papers in a given timespan. From this centrality measures, this paper also identifies the trends of citations in the field of computer science.
