Abstract

The quality of websites is based on different parameters on which their evaluation is performed. The study discusses the two important parameters i.e. usability and accessibility to evaluate the web quality as they play a significant role to attract the users and retain them to use the websites.

As of now, the business has moved to online channels to expand the user base and give real-time data and administrations to the end-users. People with disabilities similarly utilize websites so it becomes a prime factor for designers to include the accessibility feature in their design.

The purpose of this research is to discuss and evaluate the quality of web design interfaces based on accessibility and usability using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and usability heuristics.

Analysis of data was performed on the basis of reported issues and responses from the evaluators by using a questionnaire of System Usability Scale (SUS). The targeted audiences are researchers, and expert-level users of the Information Technology Sector for the evaluation process.
