Abstract

This report aims to provide an insight into the recommendation systems. With the tremendous advancement in networking technology, data access has become much easier and is widely available to a greater audience. In addition, with improvements in data storing resources, data size is continuously increasing. Recommender systems are widely used to provide most relevant and personalized suggestions to users according to their preferences for information or products. This report also provides a summarized matrix of research being done on recommender systems.
