Abstract
The concept of data warehouse is discussed in this research survey that what is the core concept of the data warehouse and what are some requirements to build a data warehouse and the industrial perspective and need of a data warehouse that where a data warehouse can be used and why it is so important for growth of any industry and how the concept of real time data warehousing and real time business intelligence can be used in the industry and how much it will be beneficial for the one who adopts it. Moving with the requirement of organization and the growth of technology the concept of near real time data warehousing which can be considered as an alternate of real time data warehouse where minor delays will not create much problems for the business in this chapter a solution was also proposed my Tanvi by using CDC (Change data capture). Ramon and Anton (Lawrence and Kruger 2005). proposed an approach which uses metadata for real time data warehouse and was using web servers to created data warehouse, a similar approach was also proposed by Damir which was using XML and SOA based ETL methods. A system known as MESA which is distributed and highly available data storage and query system. The real time business intelligence is also discussed in the research survey where live data can be sent to BI tools directly from the operational systems a SOA architecture was proposed by Dale by using CDC and by using push and pull technique
