Abstract
This research analyzes the political economy dynamics that play within the urban civic service delivery sector in Karachi, where the main focus is on the solid waste sector. The research is based on a Political Economy analysis framework to analyze the power dynamics between institutions and agents. It scrutinizes the impact of underlying politics on developmental policies which seems to lead to the failure of service delivery.
