Abstract
Since the initiation of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), China has heavily invested in many different projects of Pakistan. This investment of China is not limited to provide development in many different sectors of Pakistan, but it is also integrating its ideologies in Pakistan through these projects. As China is showcasing the government of Pakistan and different sectors in the country the benefit of adopting and implementing their ideology. As China seeks to bring evolutionary change in Pakistan through integration of ideologies. The ideologies that China is integrating in Pakistan are Confucian ideologies
This thesis project using the neoclassical realism international relation theories analyses Pakistan and China relationship as all-weather friendship is constituted for 70 years and how through this relation China has invested in CPEC projects of Pakistan and is integrating its ideologies in Pakistan. The intervening variables of neoclassicalism are an important part of this thesis project as they are used in analyzing the relation of Pakistan and China. This thesis also highlights the Confucian ideologies that China has implemented in their political and economic realm and now wants to integrate those ideologies in Pakistan.
Through this thesis project I have also analyzed the impact of the Confucian ideology in Pakistan and how it will bring change in the political and economic realm of the country. Through CPEC projects China is empowering the centralized bureaucratic government which seeks to create a harmonious society in the country. Through Confucian ideology the democratic government which is currently implemented in Pakistan is going to be replaced with meritocratic bureaucracy and the fall of neoliberalism is going to be the manifestation of the Confucian ideologies.
