Abstract
Frankl’s theory of Logotherapy is best described in his book, Man’s Search for Meaning, which will be used as a framework to understand another primary text, The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath. Upon reading the two texts, the distinctions between the authors’ approaches of tackling the suffering faced by each individual becomes apparent.
