Abstract
Education is an essential part of nation building, this paper looks at the policies and models of education applied in the province of Sindh, looking specifically to the case of the Public-Private Partnership model. Since, majority of Sindh is underdeveloped and rural a different kind of educational model is used to provide a greater access to education. This model is like the Escuela Nueva model which was successfully applied in Colombia since the 1970s. This paper will analyze, in depth, the models and projects that have been working in Sindh. This paper will also make an analysis on the impact that these models, namely, Escuela Nueva and Sindh Education Foundation, government of Sindh have had or can have on the political economy of the country.
