Abstract
KSE has been experiencing ups and downs especially in the decade of 2000s, whether these ups and downs represent the presence of speculative bubbles or not, has motivated this study. Duration dependence test has been used in this study to check the possible existence of rational speculative bubble in KSE. Duration dependence tests’ results show that probability of ending a run of positive excess returns does not decrease with the length of the run which is not consistent with the presence of rational speculative bubbles.
