Abstract

In order to improve energy distribution management, this project investigates the possibility of combining cloud-based analytics with the Internet of Things (IoT). For the purpose of simulating data pertaining to energy consumption, the project makes use of Python for the generation of data, Azure IoT Hub for the aggregation of data, Azure Stream Analytics for the processing of data, Azure SQL Database for storage, Azure Machine Learning for predictive analytics, and Microsoft Power BI for the visualization of data. This entire method provides a solution for energy management that is both real-time and scalable, thereby solving important difficulties that are currently being faced in the field.
