Abstract
Employee onboarding process refers to a series of activities and procedures that a company undertakes to integrate a new employee into a company. This process starts from time the new employee is hire to the time they become fully productive and acclimated to their role and the company culture. This is a cumbersome task which can be simplified just by making the onboarding process automated. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can significantly enhance the employee onboarding process in several ways, making it more efficient, accurate, and seamless. The RPA based employee onboarding will perform following task:
HR will only submit a web form which contains details of employee, its department and its role. On submitting the form RPA flow would start which extracts information from the submitted form and creates an entry in database with assigning department and manager and other resources. Furthermore, employee account will be created in outlook or Azure active directory. A request would be initiated to the IT resource provider department for the equipment’s. Welcome email will be sent to the new hiring. When all the processes will be done an email will be generated to the HR for the acknowledgement of the completion of the process.
