Executive Summary
Education is the key factor that plays a role in the growth and development of any country. Pakistan is not growing not getting developed for past many years that takes my attention to investigate public education sector. I found many complaints, articles and people especially of Sindh province regarding bad performance of education system in Sindh.
This bad reputation of Sindh education department is a result of many factors that are mostly related to human resource policies applies on work disengagement, job performance, and job satisfaction and employee faithfulness. In this dissertation focus is on employee disengagement specifically teaching staff of Sindh education department deputed in East district of Karachi.
This report shows the outcomes of a study done to examine the reasons behind employee disengagement at the Sindh Education Department. The study included considering 100 employees to gather data and gain awareness into the reasons.
