For confidentiality purposes we will use the name AAA company that is among top 5 producers of tomato ketchup in Pakistan. The company over the past two years has been facing issues in getting the basic ingredients (tomato paste) required for ketchup production. The issues such as availability, cost, sales seasons, delivery timings, capital expenditure, storage and handling of tomato paste necessary required to be used for Ketchup production.
The company must juggle between various constraints to optimize their resources and make the most of it.
This research paper briefly discusses the optimal solution for the company to cope with key constraints and reach a desired outcome.
