Executive Summary
This project gauges the performance of Islamic banking sector in contrast to the performance of the conventional banking post recession internationally.
It will address the reasons that why Islamic Banking is the way forward and also the flaws in the current (conventional) banking system because of which the conventional banking sector is in disarray.
It will further delineate upon the challenges faced by Islamic Banks in order to increase there market share and will look to discuss the root causes and the impact of recession comparatively on both the Islamic and the Conventional banking system.
