Executive Summary

The entertainment sector in the recent past has depicted significant improvements and growth in Pakistan. The Pakistan Film Industry has shown improvements in its content and quality of work being delivered to the audience. The primary objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of Film Production Company in Pakistan. The study had been carried out through the primary method in which interview, focus group and questionnaire survey had been carried out with the film company's stakeholders. Based on the results, it had been found that it is feasible for the film production company to be successful in Pakistan. The factors that highly influences on film Production Company are technical skills, marketing, economy, culture, finance and resources. Moreover, most of the local audience has been showing great interest towards the Pakistani movies as many of the directors have shifted its content to social issues such as terrorism, war, women rights and other. This has caused a significant improvement to the content and quality of work on the Pakistan Film Industry. Lastly, recommendations have been provided to the film industry production for overall improving its operations and the budget and revenue streams with distribution of revenue also mentioned in the working in conclusion.
