Executive Summary
This report will cover detailed project management methodologies and implementation road map which is employed to implement large technology based banking solutions in banking industry. This report also covers a comparative study of legacy systems and Core Banking Application (CBA) solution highlighting the benefits of CBA over the legacy system.
This report will highlight the challenges that are likely to be faced by any organization during the implementation of such large volume technology based projects. These challenges include but not limited to the following;
1. Business Process Reengineering
2. Business Continuity Planning
This report will also highlight the issues and methodologies to address those issues that are being faced in the implementation of technology based systems and solutions by the current banking industry due to lack of harmony between Information Technology and Banking Business.
