Executive Summary
This project is aimed at understanding the need and defining an entrepreneurial strategic fit between the dental surgeons and the (patient) population they are to serve. The primary research was done through the interviews of the senior dental surgeons having the industry experience of 10 years or more. These interviews were used to gain business insight in the understanding of these experts and how they looked at the dentistry landscape for the future dental graduates. These interviews also proved effective in coming up with a model of an entrepreneurial approach that could help these fresh graduates in setting up their personal clinic in minimum possible time in order to facilitate faster financial freedom and to ease the dentist-patient strategic fit. Several important points were highlighted in this model like the importance of staying close to the academicians as these are the people with industry experience and are better able to guide their students, learning the basic business concepts would be of great help. The other thing discussed here are the methods of searching out opportunities and availing them at their best time.
