Executive Summary
Qubee is the brainchild of Augere Holdings, which was established in September 2007 by an experienced team of global telecoms executives with the vision of delivering 'broadband for all'.
Internet access has been available in Pakistan since the early 1990s. Broadband was first introduced in Pakistan in 1995 by Telstra. Since then, it has grown exponentially in the country now encompassing all major cities and many minor cities of Pakistan.
The purpose of this research is to gain consumer insights specifically for Broadband Services users in Pakistan; their usage pattern; their attitude towards different attributes of Broadband and to find the ideal price point for three different broadband speeds (512 Kbps, 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps) in Pakistan.
The survey was done after recommendations of the focus group. A questionnaire was developed for the survey and 376 respondents were asked to fill the questionnaires.
I concluded that Price is the most important factor while considering internet purchase.
