Executive Summary
Merger and acquisition are becoming more and more important for organizations especially the financial sector for survival. The world today is becoming more like a global village therefore the main requirement is to bring external changes to improve the position of the business and M&A plays a major role in making it possible.
Although the planning and reasons behind every M&A is to be better than the existing scenario unfortunately most of the M&A result in being less successful than what was desired through them. There are various reasons to it.
Most of the companies want profitability, entrance in a new market; diversity, growth etc and in planning to attain all of these the most important human aspect is neglected which becomes later one of the major reason for failure.
