Executive Summary
As a responsible citizen, many things concern me when looking at the social issues prevailing in Pakistani society. In this scenario much responsibility lies on the individual and organizational level. Corporate generate profits due to consumer and employees, there are many different ways an organization may contribute to the well being of their employees and society at large.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its benefit to the society & to the firm itself remain vague & obscure until a broad base change in mindset occurred about how to interlink social assistance with economic benefits. A great deal of debate was established about the idea of spending on CSR and its relevance on company's long term goals & objectives.
The lack of awareness related to CSR indicators prompt to investigate their characteristics. The research found that firm size, firm profitability, firm sales, awareness on CSR, top management commitment has an influence toward the Corporate Social Responsibility expenditure.
