It was a time when only one TV sets In our places, but now things are change radically and there are multiple TV sets in our homes/workplaces. This thing happened because of penetration of Digital Cable, IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) and MIVIDS (Multi Channel Multi point distribution service). The total advertising budget of current year goes to 32 Billion Rupees which is incredible. Market is flourishing and the addition of DTH (Direct to Home) will definitely emerged it as one of the most lucrative sector. The total Cable and Satellite viewer house hold In Pakistan reaches approximately 13,034,500 that indicates DTH will never suffer and will penetrate. PEMRA has to issue DTH licensing.
