Executive Summary
This project is assigned by employer that is Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) done by research tools under guidance and knowledge base gain from IBA. The project is basically about up-grading vendor evaluation system on going in PSMCL or re-designing a total new system for PSMCL vendors. It was required to understand perspectives of vendors and employees with respect to Vendor evaluation system and get their requirements so for this purpose, two separate questionnaires were developed:
i- For Vendors
ii- For PSMCL employees
Vendors' perspective about vendor evaluation system was judged through questionnaire, judged parameters include study of awareness and satisfaction level. Capability of vendor evaluation system driving force behind the improvement in vendor performance was also judged. Through this questionnaire designed exclusively for PSMCL employees, awareness, satisfaction level and capability to act as driving force all were judged.
After merger of both the results, awareness of existence of current system was judged from both angles. capability of system and transparency was also judged. System depth to accommodate and evaluate every point necessary for evaluation was also worked out. An implication of system in improving vendor performance was also judged system was audited for acting as motivational force behind performance improvement.
