Executive Summary
This thesis discusses the issues inherent in talent management and its remedial in the Banking Industry of Pakistan. We have distributed the questionnaire within fewer banks and also gave them a call both local and multinational banks from which we have received inputs. Through this study we came across the fact that during this recession period banks have faced in numerous problems prevalent across the sector. Further to this, large local banks are now atleast in the later stages but mid sized and small banks are still facing problems and are concentrating on cost cutting strategies. Talent Management during this period became secondary and the organizations faced deficiency in terms of resources to invest in their employees which resulted in more voluntary separations or disengagement. In the end we have come up with strategies which could support in a fight with the unfavorable time.
