This research is being conducted to evaluate the implication and the importance of corporate social responsiveness. The study would bring forth and shed light on the strategies that businesses producing tobacco have adapted to lower the chance of health and environmental impairment as a result of tobacco sales.
The study shall bring forward existing circumstances of the tobacco production and how this industry has been putting in efforts to guard itself from accusations of being hazardous to community health T^e research is specifically focused on recommending Pakistan Tobacco Company to undergo an additional improvement planning regarding implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The claims of practicing corporate social responsibility while functioning, as a to be much contradictory. More or less, these claims only represent an attempt to fulfill their need of marketing themselves as environmentally friendly organization. It is however debatable whether the steps taken by PTC in the name of CSR confirm the well being of society more than its implicated hazards on human race.
This study presents the probable threats that pertain to any tobacco selling business, given that it does not ensure their social services for welfare of the community within any particular country of operation.
