Executive Summary
Universities in Pakistan are nowadays exposed to a number of challenges including resource constraints, inadequate infrastructure development, increased competition for admissions, inclusion of modern social and technological paradigms in curriculum and moreover acceptance of the institution graduates in international arena.
One of the biggest challenges is the employability of graduates that is hampered by ever increasing national unemployment, unstable political and economic conditions and thus results in brain drain of young talent. One of the priority areas for government is to promote entrepreneur culture in the country to reduce the unemployment rate of the country that will consequent to economic growth of the country. Thus universities need to play a vital role by developing a culture that can promote entrepreneurial skills among its graduates.
This ambitious goal would require gauging student attitude, intentions and family background diversity towards entrepreneurship so that strategies are formulated in such a manner that can truly meets the future entrepreneurs' expectations.
