Description

The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the Sindh government to conduct a fresh Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) within four weeks, following evidence that the September 22 test was compromised. A probe revealed that 75% of the test questions were leaked hours before the exam, and security breaches involved over 42 staff members. The court instructed IBA Karachi and Sukkur IBA to conduct the retake across the province on the same day, with no additional fees for students. The Sindh government will cover all costs, and repeat candidates will be treated as fresh applicants to ensure fairness. The retake must adhere to PMDC guidelines and use a robust question bank.
